Michelle just called me after finishing with Joshua’s post-op appointment. His surgeon is very pleased with his progress, and the little guy can return to a regular diet!!! Thank you again for your prayers, phone calls, and the many comments on the site. I’ll post some more pictures when Joshua gets home.

Discharged Today

The doctor cleared Joshua for discharge some time today! He is almost completely back to his old self. We can definitely see the difference in him. The first picture below is from Friday; the second was taken a few minutes ago (Saturday).
Thanks again for praying. We just received the orders and will be leaving soon.
First Dirty Diaper

Joshua’s plumbing is working as planned. We just changed his first dirty diaper! He has been allowed to eat clear liquids including breast milk and seems happy to be able to eat again.

Joshua is getting pretty good at this surgery stuff. He was wonderful today even though he didn’t get to eat after midnight or drink after 6am. Trip to Greenville

We’ll be leaving soon for Joshua’s final surgery on Wednesday. Please be praying for everything to go smoothly. It will be a little interesting travelling with a nine month old who we are not allowed to feed solid food for the day. We will keep you updated as best we can.
